Going to give this a go and see how it works. Need something a little smaller than the large rigid vac I have now.
Side question, with the Ryobi days deals this year I just got invested into the Ryobi system with plenty of batteries and the supercharger.. Do I need to bring the batteries in from my garage to avoid the cold Wisconsin winters or will they be fine?

Probably be fine but I'd prefer not to gamble and bring them in. IIRC heat is worse for them than cold though.
You mean I don't need to lug power cables and extension cord around when I want to shopvac stuff?!? Wow mind=blown!!!!! Now if only it comes with battery and charger but that's wishful thinking
Well, I've been going back and forth between their 3 gal and their 6 gal since they're roughly same price. Would seem this would be the answer, then...though I'm not so sure based on some of the feedback. Price is good, though (unless the 3 and 6 come down on a sale soon).

Wonder how it compares to the current wet/dry vacs.
Doesn't look like they made hybrid?

I know right! Every time a product comes up I tell my self "you don't need this".
Plus got a shop vac from HD not too long ago for $30... can't complain!

i wish they made this a hybrid. but i get it, if they make it hybrid, it would lose sales from their batteries

Edit: I see the 3 gal is down $20 to $79.
