This is a hot item on on Costco Black Friday Nov 20 deal.. But, for some reason its on $200 manufacturer's savings is valid 10/29/20 through 11/1/20. While supplies last.
I'm also thinking about buying this. I was going to buy the HW-Q60T but this one is better with rear speaker for additional $20. But cant decide between this one and JBL JBL2GBAR51IMBLKAM. JBL is just soundbar but with 10" sub, while this one is with rear speaker and smaller sub. I dont need rear speaker because no way to hide the wires. Any one have experience with JBL JBL2GBAR51IMBLKAM?
Thoughts on this one vs the LG SN7R, which Costco is also going to have on sale for the same price? Looks like the LG one has extra features like Atmos and an app to change the settings, so it might be a better deal?

I am personally waiting for the LG SN7R. The Samsung 7.1 isn't really a true 7.1 since it is using wide beam (also I feel like it is actually just 5.1 but processed for the extra 2 channels) If you look at Samsung site, it lists audio processing as 5.1. I feel like horizontally you are going to have more objects in the way to block it from bouncing off the walls properly anyways.
I prefer the Atmos presence, and with the LG shooting up to the ceiling to bounce back down there are less things in the way. Besides that, the LG SN7R supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 pass-throughs, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X
What is the difference between this one and HW-Q60T? only the rear speaker?
I think I read somewhere that the Sub included in this is weaker than the sub in the HW-Q60T. I tried to verify on Samsung's website and found that wattage is exactly the same but the 67CT lists the Sub as weighing 8.8 lbs and the 60T lists the Sub as weighing 13.7 lbs. Everything else looks the same on the bar so the only other difference is these come with the 8500s rear speakers. I have the q60t and I like it. I bought the rear speakers separately and can confirm that it is a true 7.1 set up.
After digging further I found that the Samsung TV by default stuck with HDMI output format to PCM and that caused all chos in the way the sound bar performed..
After I changed the output format to DTS 2:5 then everything started doing good.. Still the sub performance isn't that great when compared to Yamaha 2090..
I am happy with the overall performance.. Until otherwise the Q850 comes for $400 in next two months I am going to stick with this..
The soundbar is connected to my LG TV via bluetooth but every time I turn on the TV, have to reselect bluetooth and then this soundbar. Does anyone know how to get the TV to default to the soundbar when the TV is turned on?
Another issue is I cannot update the firmware via USB stick. It extracts a .bin file and the soundbar reads "no data" Tried FAT 32 and NTFS.

Would this warrant the extra $140 over the Vizio system?
