I validated for student using ID.me (at the checkout) and received extra $30 off which came down to $169.95 with free shipping.
I believe the price is pretty decent and matches the previous sales at Costco (which sold out in a few hours).
Before anyone mentions about Costco still selling at $169.99, their online store does not have QC35 II in-stock and the one they have is QC35 I instead of QC35 II. https://www.costco.com/bose-noise...56081.html
It's my first post so I welcome the suggestion/fix on my post
EDIT:
I guess my post is merged.
It seems like a global sales. They are $199.99 at most of the retailers including Best Buy, Microsoft Store, Nordstrom, etc.
Good deal. Are we sure the pair at Costco that you linked aren't the QC 35 II model? I searched the model number in the Costco description and it brought up the Bose page for the QC 35 II.

QC 35 I's model number is 759944, which is what Costco has, while the QC 35 II's model number is 789564. As mentioned previously by Tylerr23, the II has Alexa integration, and Costco's product page does not list Alexa in the product description.

In the market for some higher end headphones, so any input on Bose QC35 vs Sony XM4?
I was debating between the two for a while as well. From what I hear, XM4 has some issues that XM3 had (wind noises) and its hinge structure is yet to find out. All the previous 1000X had issues with hinge breaking (I have my broken MDR-1000x in front of me) so I assume XM4 will have the same issue. Plus, at this lower price (with EDU discount), it was no brainer for me to go with QC35
