Other than this monitor being curved, what is the advantage vs a 4K TV like the Samsung 43" - TU700D Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV (https://www.costco.com/samsung-43...147.html)?
60hz vs 144hz for starters.

Aside from costco lifetime warranty, any thoughts on this? 8% CB + 5% Paypal could push this to around the same price.

No Speaker, but who wants a 2 watt speaker now days anyways...

There is no Costco Lifetime Warranty. It does not exist. Costco does not offer warranties except on the limited items where it specifically states that an extra warranty is included. You can get an additional 2 years of warranty if you use the Costco Citi Visa to purchase the monitor. What Costco offers is a satisfaction guarantee and generous return policy. Certain items are limited to a return period of 90 days such as Computers and TV's. Monitors are not included in the 90 day return period so technically they can be returned at any time. However, if you try to return it 5 years after your purchase it you will probably face some resistance as that is not reasonable.

I had that 4k TV as my main monitor. Had to return it as it was causing neck issues as I could not sit it far enough away as my desk is skinny. Also the LG 43UN7300 is also great as a 4k monitor as it is IPS compared to the samsung being VA.

Gaming was awesome on both, especially since they both have super low input lag.

Not sure I understand how the LG 35 ultra wide is more expensive than this model.

I was glad it has speakers for occasional use but, as you guessed, they are not much to brag about - barely useful.

I've returned a $199 Wifi router earlier this year with no box/receipt. Costco store was able to pull it up from my membership and I had bought it back in 2016. They gave me full store credit and I ended getting the Nigthhawk router.

My 3 yr old HP monitor(Costco version) bricked and I took it back (still had box/receipt) to store and again, no questions asked. Got store credit for $299+taxes and I bought the Acer 32" Nitro.

I do know some people may get anal on such returns but I'm also a premium member and I spent $2-$5k easily every year and almost all TVs/electronics are purchased at Costco, mainly for ease of returns/exchanges. I'm pretty sure Costco does keep a tab on higher dollar returns (and trend if u show up every month buying/returning stuff).

That being said, I also do not return every single item that breaks after 2 years. However, I've personally witnessed someone returning 5 yrs old dirty paddle board and Costco returns issued them full refund.

2-5k annually is not enough justification for them to keep you as a member based on your return habits. I would be careful with that since the next time you go return something they'll cancel your membership.

I spend more than that at Costco gas stations alone and I'm still certain I'd get banned if I had your returning habits.

I would be embarrassed to return a perfectly good router that I used for 4 years just because I wanted to upgrade. If I was Costco I would cancel their membership since they are treating it like a perpetual upgrade system. It's behavior like this that caused the TV and Computer return policy to be reduced to 90 days. I don't want the other items to be reduced to 90 days like that.

Thanks. It looks like Costco has the LG Model you mentioned (https://www.costco.com/lg-43-clas...62695.html) I say looks like because the Model# is 43UN7300AUD, which is slightly different than you mentioned. Under the "Your Price" the detail page states "May be available In-Warehouse at a lower non-delivered price". Has anyone seen the in store price on this TV?

I am seeing blurry text when I connect this to my Macbook Pro 2016. Any idea how I can fix this? I had no issues with my 28" 4k monitor.
