Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can Wink

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

Using this as my work monitor for now, connected to a Lenovo carbon x1. Connected using HDMI to USB - C. Color settings is low contrast, low black boost and. Brightness on 25. And always have night mode on.
What color format is your monitor set to in Windows display settings?

While waiting on my new Gaming rig, I am using a 6 year old HP laptop with this monitor. HDMI connection, and had the same issues you have. I downloaded the Acer Monitor Widget and was able to get a MUCH better picture. I am also in the 1920x1080 resolution as thats all the HP Graphics card can muster. Get the widget and play with the settings.
This is fantastic advice. I will give this a go a little later and report back! Thanks so much.

What year is your MacBook? I spent countless hours on trying to figure it out and I finally got it. For my 2015 mbp I had to use display port to mini display port for it to show native resolution. For my windows laptop I had to do HDMI to USB C.
my Macbook is 2015. connected via included HDMI. I have two monitors set up on my old PC to test. the old Dell I use is 1920x1280. The Acer is 1920x1080@59hz. I downloaded the Acer Display Widget but has not helped. I cannot push this any higher.

I just downloaded and started playing with this. It doesn't allow me to change resolution. It's so odd. I have two monitors set up on my old PC to test. the old Dell I use is 1920x1280. The Acer is 1920x1080@59hz. I downloaded the Acer Display Widget but has not helped. I cannot push this any higher. It has to be the cable?

Likely the cable. I had to manually install drivers before it worked on mine. It kept showing up as Generic PnP Monitor with no automatic drivers installation. Had to download from the site and manually install.

Let me re-phrase what I said. The resolution will not change if your graphics card is at its limits. BUT.. You can tweak other things in the Widget like the backlight, brightness, etc... You can get a much better image then it is out of the box. I turned my black level to 0, brightness to 90, and turned off blue light filter and its a massive difference.

Anyone compare this to the Monoprice Dark Matter one? Or the 35" 100hz LG at Costco (which is supposed to be 399 on BF?). Just got this but haven't had the chance to hook it up yet.

regular HDMI will not show 3440x1440. You must use a display port to mini display cable. I bought the Amazon basics one and it worked isntantly.

Thanks; I just got one too. Hopefully it's still part of the promotion on 11/30 and they will price match online.

You just made my decision a bit difficult. Price wise, Lenovo would be more expensive after tax.
