Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

I am using DisplayPort and I did not have any issues with Windows and HDR. In fact I can turn on HDR in Windows outside of games and it still works fine, Although I leave HDR off in Windows and let the game decide to turn it on when its supported.

Mine still says UPS awaiting item too but I think when I ordered it, the estimated delivery date was the 16th so I was kind of expecting it. Still disappointing though.

Anyone else having issues with PC not recognizing monitor as ultrawide with selectable resolutions at 16x9? This only happens over HDMI, not Displayport. Tried with 2 different systems using the HDMI cable provided in box.

I am, I called in today and after talking to a rep they said the price adjustment department is still processing and haven't made a decision of whether it would be approved or not. The rep said it would take another 3-5 days more... I took down the service tag and will try calling again on Friday.

I bought this one and the 35" LG one, This one is going back. washed out colors, wakeup lag to the point that I couldn't conform the settings I changed. also for whatever reason I can't get 3440x1440 out of the HDMI I had a use a USB C to HDMI adaptor.

How is the LG one?

I just boxed this up to return to Costco. Not sure what monitors people are used to looking at but this one is one of the worst screens I have ever used.

1. Text was painful to look at. I tried to work off the screen for an hour or two yesterday and couldn't stand how jagged and fuzzy text looked.
2. Colors are awful; I attempted every color correction option combination possible and just couldn't get it to look anywhere near true.
3. The back lighting on dark scenes is very visible. Looks like 10 spotlights coming down from the top of the monitor.
4. I could hear the coil whine on this monitor over the fan in my tower, never experienced that before.
