If you're looking for very cheap 3080 build then this is for you. After putting in the code it should go down to $1,1,93.20 before taxes. Only downside is the wait time for the build.

Coupon code for 5% off: Halloween

NOTE: Choosing 3070/3080/3090 (AMPERE) will be a lottery between 3rd party GPUs, NOT the FE edition.

Doesn't Nvidia recommend a 750W PSU for a 3080?

It's $53 more for a RM750, add some RAM and you've got a 3080 without stalking websites all day.

I'm guessing we are now finding the cheapest build and selling off everything but the gpu? If this shipped right away I could see that.

They do recommend 750W, but it only uses 350W. The rest of the system normally isn't that power hungry, so the 600W - especially the gold series - should be sufficient. This system at full load should be using around 500W.

Why not? This is a desktop. I guess you're planning to sell the RTX 3080 and keep using your GTX 1080. Good Plan.

LOL, No, I just wan't a 3080 for a build. I would put the 1080 in this new set-up and sell it for $700ish.

There will be problem if you upgrade the Processor to a beefier one like 105W TDP 3800X, 12 Core 3900X or 16 Core 3950X. Those Processors, under load, consumes nearly 150W or more. Now if you overclock the CPU and the Graphics card, you will be hitting very borderline of the PSU capacity. I would recommend to spend around 30 bucks and update to the Gigabyte 750W Gold Full Modular PSU for future upgrade.

I was able to configure mine down to $1,270.15 shipped. This seems like the ultimate no-brainer. I am curious to see if they deny it due to all the changed/work around.

or just keep the system as is since depending on the resolution you're playing at, 3080 is still overkill and doing most of the lifting in games. i would think the Ryzen 5 3600 is still plenty fast for most games today even AAA titles.

Hmm price went up since posting. Do you anticipate better deals during Black Friday/Cyber Monday?

Just pulled the trigger on the same system, but swapped out the 3080 for a 3090 (still let me purchase...LOL! We will see what happens.

Ended up being $2000.00 shipped. Plan on keeping the 3090 for my build (I do video editing and some gaming) and throwing the old spare1080 I have and selling the system for $700-ish.
