Correct. Costco (the store) does not extend the warranty of any item unless specifically mentioned such as with many appliances they sell which usually come with a 2 year manufactuer warranty plus an additional 2 years if you use your Costco Citi Visa card. The Airpods are covered by the regular satisfaction guarantee, which means there is no specific time limit on returning them. Basically, just be reasonable.

I just placed order for these on Amazon by taking advantage of Amex $10 off. Completely forgot about Costco 3-year warranty. Are you sure this qualufies for 3-year warranty? Might just cancel Amazon to order these.

Thoughts, anyone?

There is no Costco 3 year warranty. I was giving an example of times. There is no limit to the return period (not warranty). The Costco Citi Visa Card provides an additional 2 years of manufacturer warranty no matter where you buy the item as long as it is new and has a warranty.

Yes, AMEX does at least on my card. You should probably contact AMEX customer service to verify.
