The folding ones are often more stable than the solid piece.
I haven't had a solid one that didn't eventually warp.

What's the quality like on this table? Is it like the Lifetime tables at Costco?

Plastic tables suck. I'd like to back to the old heavy wooden ones that are more robust, lest stain prone.

Eh, plastic tables are fine for just setting them up quick to hold stuff on. I have a couple 9ft old wooden ones from a firehall that my father in law volunteers at. They're ROBUST like you said, but are insanely heavy!

My question as well. 6ft Lifetime at Sams is $50. I'd get this if I knew the quality was similar.
Edit: Scratch that. I didnt realize this one folds down the middle - too unstable for my use.

Lifetime also folds, at least the costco lifetime does.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I went ahead and ordered one but won't be able to pick it up until 7pm pst. Will report back when I get it. My wife had bought a cheapo one at Walmart and it definitely feels crappy but she needs another one. Hopefully it's like lifetime ones.

Looks like that or the very similar "Cosco" (no relation to costco) table i have from walmart and i think HD or lowes carries

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosco-6...e/46368979

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosco-6...k/46368984

Theres other duoes out there too but cosco and lifetime with exact same leg setup and half / middle folding are both solid well buikt cheap tables.

Have heavy network gear on one as we speak - 3 (50 port LAN switches,
, 6 wifi AP's, a wifi controller,
a 1u cisco router, 2 cisco ip desk phones,
a machook, a monitor 27",
and a couple little/light towels and papers etc

ahah- cosco and cisco and costco in this msg lol)

I paid $45 for the cosco table at walmart impulse buy while in store, had priced the lifetime at $50 in costco ($10 off deal coming soon for early BF deal BTW), and others from $39 to $59

5' was $39.99 and $32.99 at a few places

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Lifetim...e/49550287

8' was $62.99 to $79.99 at a few diff places, $69.99 at walmart the other day...
