"and plan purchase." is probably the key. The $15 "plan" should qualify, and I'm guessing needs to be on the same receipt.

And also, I think the minimum plan Tracfone will make us buy/qualify is the monthly $20 Smartphone plan of 1GB of data. So minus $5 more dollars for the possible MM vs the (cheapest) $15 non-data plan.

The $15 plan that I found on Target.com has 500Mb, so why wouldn't that be a data plan as well?

Visited 2 target to pick up the sims but none of them if able to activate... they were getting error mobile device not found Frown

they do not know the process to activate tracfone byod ... target tech guy told me they always activated phones and this is byod which he never activated earlier
