Turn on the DTS Truvolume feature to balance out dialogue with the rest of the soundstage. Turning on DTS Virtual X will further enhance the clarity of dialogue, but I'm not a huge fan of simulated surround so I keep it off.

Bought this at full price 2 weeks prior. I was surprised at the bass it had. I could feel the ground shake. I have issues when dialogue is low I have trouble hearing but as soon as any action comes on it's like a the volume jumps 5 fold. It gets annoying. If I didn't live upstairs of an appointment complex I wouldn't care about the volume fluctuations, but I recommend this at the sale price.

Edit: sorry I am not an audiophile by any means and can not speak about lows and highs and what not. It just sounds way better then what you get from tv speakers.

2.1 with Built-In Subwoofers. How long is this thing?

I got the refurbished Vizio 38" with a Sub many years ago for about same price, still holding up.

How is this compare to Bose solo 5 for $100 that I got from amazon few weeks ago? I can still return it and get this so just wondering if someone can help me out.

Definitely room filling bass. I can say it is sufficient but not disturbing the neighbors . I did not want subwoofer because of neighbors in below level.

Bose doesn't have hdmi in, so you'll be losing a port on your tv if you're using HDMI
