Make sure you get a docking station for dual display or buy displayport cables to enable MST (Daisy Chain) to avoid buying a docking station. But it only works for Windows.

I got two from Dell and Staples. U2419H (with HDMI) from DELL came with firmware ending 106 while staples U2419HX came with 105. And a monitor from DELL is Rev 09 while Staples is REV 08. Color seems different to me and sure in the calibration report says they are different.
I am planning to use the dual monitor setup with both windows laptop/desktop and mac pro laptops, what is a good universal docking station for this dual monitor setup?
Can you please give couple of options if possible.

Does anyone know if you can daisy chain 4 of these monitors at the same time? I plan on getting the Lenovo Legion 5 desktop deal from Costco that was posted on here which comes with 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10400F Processor at 2.9GHz and 6GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER Graphics. Wanted to make sure that setup will work. Thank you in advance

I thought the $100 gift card directly from Dell was only an egiftcard (not a mastercard)?

Assuming you are using USB-C laptops, I would recommend the following:

1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CB4RWRV/?coliid=IBADU6K7VH149&colid=3Q80SBDJFNJCU&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_... [amazon.com]

2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HJ8D779/?coliid=I2OE96UTYVJH53&colid=3Q80SBDJFNJCU&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig... [amazon.com]

3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083LJWFSC/?coliid=IWY8ZW416WR0O&colid=3Q80SBDJFNJCU&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_... [amazon.com]

All 3 will provide power to your laptop and are currently on sale right now.

That's a good point. Now I am not sure. Could be that...

So like the 1920x1200 24" 1080p ultrasharps from 8 years ago are basically still better than this. Why does this even exist for more money?

Edit.... just re read the title. This is for TWO MONITORS. Eh

Still seen better deals than this

I got my used dell u2410f in 2014, about $150, very nice monitor. Replaced it with a 32 inch acer one year ago since I need bigger screen.

I have the Dell D3100. Wife has the Dell D6000. If I would get one today, it would be the Dell D6000 since it's USB-C, but has a built in USB-A adapter.

I have to agree with you. I'm surprised this is labeled a Ultrasharp. I'm running several U2413m monitors from 8 years ago that are spec'd better than this. I picked up my monitors for about $40 each at office surplus shops. They still work great.

I run two of these at work. Technical writing. To be honest they are sub-par to look at all day. I come home to my Dell 4K monitor and 32 AOC IPS 1440 monitor and just dream about them at work instead. Even if I ran windows at 200% on the 4K the extra pixels would make text much more bearable to look at all day

Apple does NOT support MST. Dell docks, even with DisplayLink will not output extended desktop to dual monitors. The MacBook will mirror the desktop. It's really annoying.
