Yea, have seen the bare tool cheaper, but haven't seen it with the battery & charger at this price. Seems like a solid & cheap entry into the ecosystem.

The new one uses a heating base that you have to set the gun down on constantly its not made for any kind of large projects (even large craft projects) I am not a fan of the newer model at all this one right here is what gets it done. Word of warning though the glue comes out of this thing at the temp of molten lava

Great hot glue gun. Works way better than you'd expect for a cordless glue gun. Takes a little longer to heat up than a plug-in, but once it does it's ripping hot and can chew through glue sticks. Surprisingly, doesn't gulp down battery power too badly, either.

FYI, this is the best glue gun I have ever used. No drips, no excess runoff while it's on and easy to sit down when needed.

Unless you have no battery or charger, the glue gun can be found at lower price. The 1.5A battery is hood for the glue gun but not very useful otherwise. I got the glue gun, router, and quarter sheet sander bundle for $99 last year.

This glue gun is great and the little battery is well matched. It will run forever on the little battery. Plus, any of the larger batteries make it unwieldy. I've only had it for a couple months but it's worked flawlessly. It's fairly precise and when you let off the trigger it's not too bad about leaving strings of drips.
