I got one for $340 last year on BFriday with an online price match followed by a 25% off Bed Bath Beyond instore coupon. I haven't seen it lower. These typically go on sale closer to $500.
I was a former barista and even competed in the SCAA mid-atlantic barista competition several years ago. This is no $10k machine (foaming will take longer and it's less forgiving if you're not perfectly dialed in) but to get anything better you'll need to spend upwards of $700.
This is the best price you will see for the Barista Express outside of a once a year coupon mistake at Bed Bath & Beyond (which only gets it down to ~$385)
If you're waiting for a deal on this machine - this is it.

Dang, this is a really good deal on the Express. Sur la Table is a legit B&M store (similar to William Sonoma). TU!
These guys are very legit - I used to buy stuff at their local store but I guess Covid killed it. I loved browsing through the high-end kitchen stuff...
I love the 870XL, but we've gone through 2 of them in 5 years. The last one only lasted 2 years. We used it 2-4 times every day. I'd consider getting again, but am going to try a Delonghi and cross my fingers with that.
anyone owns the bambino plus and care to share how it may stack up against the barista? I really like the size of it and the lack ofr a grinder doesnt bother me.
reviews are great - if i were in the market - this is the one i would buy (I have two gaggia machines and my wife isnt allowing another)
Bought and rep'ed! This is the fourth such machine I've purchased. Two were for me, one for a friend, this one for my sister. Best bang for the buck, even at MSRP (not the inflated SLT SRP)! This really low price just clinched the deal.
If you sign up for text message alerts for Bed Bath & Beyond, the coupon they send you works on Breville (online and in store). Did it a couple months ago for a Bambino Plus. Standard 20% off coupons don't work.
Maybe. I did this and they canceled my order 5 minutes after it was placed. YMMV

Owned the express for a year, works like new. This is a great machine, I was skeptical when my partner asked for it but it's saved so much money and it's super easy to maintain!
