When will Dyson come out with their $1,000 electric toothbrush or $100 toothpick. LOL

Just wanted to give a quick review of this. I got this for my wife a year ago at full price. She says the thing is incredible. As insane as 440 or more for a hair thing typically is to me I understand she can get salon results in a short period of time. It seems really well made. So pricey yes but women love this thing.

Yep, sounding more and more like a sex toy. I'm in for 1.

I like the copper but will be going with the pink since I plan on getting some extra attachments (ie, the long barrel for long hair). The copper with pink attachments would drive me crazy.
Aren't the long barrels just the 1.6" barrels? The description says this comes with both 1.2" barrels and 1.6" barrels. Or are you talking about something else?

From the description:
This set contains
Copper presentation case

Storage bag

1.2" barrels – Engineered to create voluminous curls or waves

1.6" barrels – Engineered to create loose curls or waves

Firm smoothing brush – Engineered to smooth and control frizz-prone hair

Soft smoothing brush – Engineered to gently align and smooth fine hair

Round volumizing brush – Engineered to volumize and shape fine, flat hair

Pre-styling dryer – Takes hair from wet to damp, to prep hair for styling

Do you still need the dryer? Or does this thing do the dryer also?

HAs a dryer . Or just use a cheap one. Their dryers break anyways

the hair dryer saves a massive amount of time on my wife's and two daughter's hair, so that alone made that purchase worth it..
What do you believe is more likely: a. the dryer defies the laws discovered by science by causing water to evaporate faster than a lower cost unit producing equivalent temperatures and air volume or b. choice-supportive bias causes you to think the dryer causes water to evaporate faster than a lower cost unit producing equivalent temperatures and air volume?

Before you answer, you should know this dryer has been tested against such an equivalent unit...

I've heard not to expect the output of the hair dryer attachment on this to be the same as the regular hair dryer. Don't know from personal experience but something to keep in mind.

I saw the post regarding the heat gun-like output of the $50 hair dryer. I do hope you realize that is about the last thing most women want drying their hair.

I don't understand these things, but my wife says hers is a game changer (she's had it a bit over a year) and said it makes doing her hair a whole lot faster and easier.

Ordered, thank you.

My wife was just talking about this yesterday. I bought her the Hair Dryer 3 years ago. Never had an issue with it after daily use, and she said it has changed her life. I can also attest to its superiority as I use it on my dogs. No other dryer we own comes close go getting their thick fluff dried faster.

I've owned this for over a year, for me, it was a game-changer (sorry-don't mean to overuse the word 'game-changer, didn't see all the comments above). The hairdryer is good enough to dry my hair, but I don't use all of the attachments. I really only use the barrels and the dryer attachment.
You do have to keep the filter clean or else it won't turn on. My daughter has longer, thick hair, and tried mine and loved how quick it was, so I bought it for her birthday/christmas present when they had their last sale.
If you don't need all the attachments go for the one that's $399.99. I wasn't a fan of the brushes, they are clunky.
Good thing is Best Buy offers a 90-day return on this so if you don't like it-back it goes!

This comes with the dryer attachment and while it isn't as efficient as the standalone fryer, j love it
