Couldn't understand the reasoning behind why a hair dryer/wrap was $500+.

Basically I too saw this for the same price as I paid for my 2 stage snowblower and thought - what a roast!! - and nobody's saying it's cheap, but, maybe, for some, it is worth it.
When she first used it, she came out screaming of excitement. She doesn't ususally style her hair, cause it's long and dense, just wash it and put it in a bun for it to air dry.
This thing with air comb dried and straightened her hair in 2 minutes by just brushing it.
TBH, I've using it now too. I had an undercut and am growing my hair now, and this thing is very quick and hassle free. The blow dryer doesn't feel too strong yet it dries my hair significantly faster than our previous one. And it's way lighter/ easier to hold.
The only grip is the main unit has a bulky cord/ brick, which doesn't let you hand it or store anywhere outside of giant faux-leather case.
TL;DR: Buy this, it's worth the hype.
