I have the rf82ii and 260f, but don't have the center rc62ii instead have svs prime center. With that in mind ...... The RF82ii are great and definitely worth buying, but the 260f are more clearer than the rf82ii. The rf82ii however has a deep sounding bass due to its 8" woofer compared to 6.5" of 260. In my setup I use rf82 as surround and 260 as mains .... Strange.
If I have the budget, I would be happy buying the 8000 at this price compared to rf82ii. The 8000/6000 are successors with marginal improvements of 280/260.
In regards to the bass, if you have a subwoofer, you probably have the crossover at 80hz like I do so I don't even use the 8 inch drivers to their capacity.

The Electrons, maybe even the SE version. They look great , just not sure if I'd ever hear a difference with the klipsch
I also have a hard time imagining they sound $1200 better though.

Agree. The Electeon SEs are almost 3k. Im sure they are nice snd i really like the tweeter/mid array but thats a lot of coin for something you cant hear. Of course you ask in their group about how they compare with this speaker , whcih i did, and they said the tekton are way better
