R series isn't great, you're better off looking at local used options first, then RP series, ELAC Debut 2 or 3, or KEF Q series.

Agreed, and I say that as a Klipsch fanboy. The Reference line will leave you wanting, big time.

These are fine if you're limited on space and budget, but if you can swing an extra $100, RP-500M (https://www.crutchfield.com/S-Khe...rkQAvD_BwE) are much better speakers. Or the RP-500M-II when you can catch them on sale for $350.
