Yes, you are absolutely right. The trick doesn't care how long you waited on time after order. It has to meet certain conditions in order for the trick to work.
I tried so many times on my iPhone, no luck at all.
Below are the steps in order for 10% cancel trick to work.
- you can place order anywhere(pc, phone), but this cancellation trick have to be done in apps.
- iphone ios DO NOT work! No No No, only work on app that was downloaded using android phone!
-open samsung app on android phone, select cancel, reason: find cheaper somewhere else, next screen, list of stores that you found that is cheaper, drag all the way down, pick: other,

Btw, I trade in Samsung S4 that is ,,, can't count how many years ago.
Take 75 off. My total came to $200. Got the samsung Tablet with the order as well, the one list price for $99, after added to cart, tablet's price came to $50.
250+20tax=270. Plus 10% refund after it shipped, basically I got the A71 and tablet for around $250. The S4 I planned to throw to trash can anyway. Out of support, all the apps were unable to open because the phone was too old..
What a good deal, even though I am a iPhone user, I'll be trying to use A71 from now on, if not, it will be good for my baby to watch youtube.

If it is the first time you are doing this, the system will likely offer 10% discount by keeping rather than canceling it. If you did this before and took the offer, the system may just cancel it without offering 10% off.

I assume I could use it on my account for 90 days and then have it unlocked. My question is after being unlocked what will I have? Even if it allowed my wife to use it on her Verizon account will it always still be a T-Mobile phone with all the T-Mobile Apps and say welcome to T-Mobile when she turns it on?
