Wondering if I get hassled because the front glass of my phone is perfect, but the back of the phone has some cracks, but they don't specify that as an option to declare when going through this process. Thoughts?
If you watch most vids, the size are the same and apps load faster. Camera will probably be much better too. If you game on it, I think the iPhone 8 plus will have better performance.
No idea about 5G performance.
Then again maybe you can protect this phone this time. Buy cases and screen protectors so maybe it'll have better value for resell later on.

Both front and rear cameras on A71 is better too, according to my wife. You also have 3.5mm audio jack and better battery on the A71. Performance seems to be very similar for normal use.
HOWEVER, the A71 does not have waterproof and wireless charging like iPhone 8+ and of course it run Android, not iOS, which is a big factor for some users.
