How can I do the cancel trick after the phone is shipped?
I just did it now on the Samsung website on the PC. Just click on "Return" in your order and I chose "I changed my mind" and click on "Continue." On that screen, it gave you an option to select the 10% credit or to return it outright.

TMobile requires the phone to be 'active' for the 40 days. Not sure how often they check, but you can't just put it in, use it for a few minutes, then come back 40 days later and unlock. Not sure if they are checking that its in use every day, etc.
In the Past I bought a Tmobile SS Note 5 and Note 9 in Costco (pay full). I put my T mobile Sim in it, made a few call and text, leave a few day until It shows in my Tmobile account (Lines and devices). Then I remove the SIM. After 40 days I put the SIM back, made a few call, text then on 41st day I unlock it using Tmobile device unlock app (already in the phone). They are unlocked right away.

So i am trading in an iphone 8+ and applying the 100 dollars code. can i get an additional 50 ? is that what you are saying? i am looked into my students account. Pls let me know.

Since my camera is cracked the final trade-in is about 45 less. I am fine with that. Pls let me know.

What's you see on Youtube is the phone sold outside U.S. All the phones sold in US don't have case included in the box and do not have 2 physical SIM slot.
Because Carrier force manufacturers to do it. They don't like Dual Sim, Pre-installed screen protector and case.

Cancel trick for the phone is in "Order placed" status, cannot have this option when in "process" or "shipped".
Return trick for the phone is in "Received" status.
You click the "Cancel" or "Return" on the order page and select the reason. If it works it will pop up an offer 10% off if you not cancel or return.
A lot of people make the mistake when do it.
When there is no pop up to offer. They click the "Cancel" thinking it cancel the cancel process ( abort/ stop/undo... the cancel). But actually it mean to continue to do the cancel process. Then they complain " The cancel trick not work, it cancel my order, I have to order again....."

40 days policy is for postpaid users, so I believe you are on tmobile postpaid plan, right? for prepaid plan I think the unlock policy require user stay with tmobile more than 365 days.

please correct me if I am wrong (as I checked their unlock policy)

You did the "RETURN trick" not the "CANCEL trick" and you can only do it when It is DELIVERED not SHIPPED.

It's $200 plus tax or less after trading in almost anything. Find any new US phone with 5g antenna that has all of the other features. Not a dealbreaker for me.

IF you want to spend $300+ there are certainly better phones of course.

not for me. I had it on a previous phone and never used it. Prefer the speed of wired charging

And there is a reson it is $200. Read the reviews on this phone. Mediocre camera at best. Lag. Shutdowns. Pass

i have a ip7 pretty new and a moto E5 play and am skeptical to do this deal with either as i thought ip7 would fetch good deal incase of any future trade in towrds iphone and moto e5 has charging issues and even if i trade in getting around $200 with the phone being locked to tmobile wondering if i trade moto for this deal and can i flip it for more than 200 in any marketplace being tmobile locked. also easy way to unlock it as i am not tmobile user. can i ask any tmobile friend to activate his sim and give me the phone alone and after 40 days i can unlock ths?
