I often suggest capital one especially to those who might have weaker credit, or those with little to no credit. They offer credit cards after about 4-6 months with them (her card was a $500 limit) she made mostly minimum to $20 more a month on that card without missing a payment. It's been a blessing for her credit getting the auto loan as she ruined her credit when she was younger. Soo Capital One has some real perks to being a customer, If you have later teenage kids or college students they might be a great option for if/when your kids need to establish credit.
The only real drawback is the lack of actual locations; there are some but only in certain states.

Other pages before that, also say the same or similar... Is that what yours said as well? Not exactly a comf that the promo code was applied. I saw it auto-filled in the box when I created the account, but didn't add an external account. Scared it didn't apply now.
When you call them, make sure you stay on the call with the agent until entire process is completed and get a confirmation that the promo code has been applied, so you dont have to call again.
I forgot to get a confirmation from the agent and will need to call again to confirm.
