I quickly called customer service, and talked to a helpful agent who said she'd manually enter the BONUS400 code into my account, so I should be good to go.
Do we need to maintain a minimum balance to maintain the account ? \
without any Fines and Fees?

It would have been so much easier if CapOne simply coded the account to show the promo code was applied or not for customers to see at login.
