Wire transfers are not direct deposits.
Instant debit card transfers are not direct deposits.
Internal bank transfers are not direct deposits.
All else are considered direct deposits.
If you're still in doubt, why not just open a Robinhood or Firstrade account, because those are guaranteed to work. Don't read too much into the Doctor Of Credit post. No one knows how they got the data points from and the method they used.
I did the transfer directly off capital one. Didn't use any trial deposit.
