These bonuses are hit or miss when there aren't enough reliable data points. Best you can do is ACH push from as many institutions as you can, see how each transaction is labeled/categorized, and hope at least one of them triggers the bonus. Then we can collectively scrape that info and see if clear data points for what does or doesn't qualify as a DD.
You're gonna see a lot of b*tching from these geniuses in a few months when they don't get their bonuses.

Venmo is something I initiate on my own but the ebay payment comes automatically once a week, should qualify as a direct deposit. Guess ill try to do as many of these as I can 2 transactions each over a 1000 total and hope one of them sticks.
In the end probably if this works wont even know which transaction triggered it.

Same shit happened to me. They said they would leave a note and have me call back January 13th (60 day deadline) to verify if I was eligible and make an exception.
PS: I have tried transfer via zelle, direct deposits and some funds from my university in that account. Not sure how to check whether these worked or not.
