I am not sure what to do at this point. I shouldn't have to waste time calling about something where i correctly applied the code. Also a lot of people in here pretty much mocked people who believed capital one wouldn't pay out, but it sure looks like they (or whoever they are using for the promotion) are trying to get around paying. I went to a lot of trouble getting direct deposits changed to this account and now they will probably not pay out.

Will try to get Zelle'd from a friend's account, see how that works.
i was told same thing, however they told me just make sure its not the same Zelle account. my zelle acct on boa is my phone # and i made sure on capital one to not make it my phone # but make it just my email. and the CS agent told me it will work.

But look what he said... He asked which site the promotion would be on because "we don't do anything like that on the capital one site" and of course it is indeed on the capitalone.com site... Ands then after that he told me that he has had "an influx of calls about that promotion today" so wants to be sure to report all of the details inc ase it's an IT proble.
So if he doesn't think they do promotions like that how could he then have an influx of calls about it? Unless he thinks everyone is lying?
Also I let him know that it said the code was successfully applied and he said most don't have it say that, so it's good it told me that.... but I think everyone in here had it say that if they did indeed enter the code.
Either way, he noted that they should manually add the money, so hopefully it all works out...

Should be fine if it's from your employer. I don't think it'll work if you're transferring from your bank.
