And I thought Sony's prices for the A-mount lenses were insane. Wow, that's unreal if these are "discounted" prices. I guess I need to check out Sony's stock.

I have 11 A-mount lenses sitting in the basement, gathering dust. So much for glass not losing it's value!!
Sony just updated their A mount adapters with a new unit, so maybe take a look at that before worrying about new glass.

I got the Sony 50mm Full Frame lens for $160 with the discount and the $5 off new user code. I didn't see it listed.

If you have a Capital One card, you can go to Adorama through the Capital One portal for 10% cash back. Bought an A7iii, Sony 20mm, Tamron 28-75mm. EDU discount, $180 bundle discount, and the CB - pretty good deal to get me back in the camera game!

I haven't been actively into photography for probably 5-6 years now -- became really tired of lugging around my bag and a tripod or monopod. Back then, Sony was absurdly expensive even relative to CaNikon, which was part of the reason why their A-mounts didn't sell that well. Once they started dominating the E-mount market, I guess people were willing to pay the premium.

After easily spending over $5k on the hobby (and looking at spending another $1800 for a 70-200 f/2.8 for sports), it was time to call it quits. Now I spend money on tools and materials for the house. Smilie
Same here, But I did get the zv1 (this deal) for future travels.

What is the difference between a7 III with 28-70mm and a7 III with 28-70mm Lens + battery bundle in buydig?

Why does the one with accessories cost less? 🤔

Edit - coupon was not applicable to the accessories one

Has anyone able to see the $1580 price for the 135mm GM? Showed $1680 for me. How did OP get the extra $100 off?

Same Question here...see $1680
I think thats a typo - if you calc 20% off the regular price you get the Adorama price - which I think BuyDig and B&H are doing.

I had the A7Rii and currently have the A7iii (coming from A7ii).
I sold the A7Rii because of the file size.
I picked the A7iii over the A7Riii due to more focus points and smaller file size
Where did you sell a7Rii? Do you still keep a7 ii? I bought a7iii but not sure whether to keep a7 ii since its trade in value is less than $500 although my shutter count is only 3k.

Thanks! Do you think its a price mistake? I'm seeing the regular price as $2098 [buydig.com].

Oddly the OP says 20% off. Looks like its coming out at around 25% off?

I ended up buying through adorama. They and B&H have the same prices now. If you have an Amex card, they have $25 back for adorama

Would you mind attach a screenshot of the $1580 price? I would like to see if B&H can price match that extra $100.

Wise man. Why i avoid seeing how much i spend on lenses. But sometimes looking at sick ass fridge, washers or dryers, awesome furniture etc general household luxuries that im lusting for and realizing most of them usually cost less than my camera or a lense alone, i seriously wonder what the farks wrong with me, or with these lens prices.
I'm sure there's a psychological study out there about how people perceive prices relative to the items in question.

To put these "discounts" into perspective -- I'm about to spend $3500 on a new deck, which is less money than the a7R IV plus the 24/1.4 together. The 460 sq ft deck will probably last over 20 years (minimum) and see near daily use. Smilie
