You are on the wrong website. You need to move along and visit SlickCraigsBayer.com. Congrats, you just bragged about the little beer money you just earned and robbed opportunities for 8 people who could have actually use these TVs

This is probably better than the Hisense, but not by much. Rtings has reviews on previous models on both. The Samsung is definitely not worth $250 more. I'd say the only upgrade from these that would be worth it would be a TCL 6 series or the comparable midrange Hisense.

I have a TCL 6 series, Hisense from BB, and Onn from Walmart. The 6 series is noticeably better than the other two but not by a massive margin. The Hisense and Onn are almost identical in terms of image quality.

It's insane to me that they can sell quality 4k 65" TVs for this price. Like seriously, the Hisense and Onn look unbelievable for the price.

damn this is really tempting. I already picked up the 55" Hisense from Target last week for $200. Trying to debate if the extra 10" is worth the $29.99 difference and the hassle of returning
Yes. 65" is really good

you can hook a roku up to this tv correct?
Exactly what I did. Used the 4K streaming stick. Now powers up in (Roku) and I only need to use the (Roku) remote since power and volume are on it.

I got this a week or so ago the last time they had this sale. It works well for the most part. I'm having issues with CEC/ARC. When I put my apple tv to sleep it shuts off my recover but the TV doesn't shut off. If the TV is off it will turn on when I wake the TV though...
Can you measure the distance between the feet for me and report?

While this is definitely a killer deal. My 1 year old TCL 4 series Roku TV already developed wavy grey bands constantly rolling from the bottom of the TV upwards. After doing some research, it seems it's a pretty common issue with TCL TV's. I think I'm done with TCL for now. Hopefully the Hisense 65" I got from Best Buy lasts longer.

Anyone know if this is in-store only or if you can buy it online?
I was able to buy online and pick up in store. Love the TV so far!

TCL glossy screen but brighter. The way to tell a good TV is pretty simple. Look at the whites. The ones that look like nice pure bright white will look much better. When you put a lower end next to a higher end..the whites look like those folks that get their teeth veneered. Dull whites will be dull picture.

2nd part is contrast. The TCL is pretty good.

3rd part is upscaling OTA. TCL is good the Hisense is just awful.

I take the TCL over the other cheap ones but that glossy screen is annoying. Avoid LG since contrast is pretty bad. TCL 6 series is better option if you get a deal.

Regarding Samsung which you can get deals on....I would get except for center DSE. 6 and 7 series does not have DSE. The DSE in the center is an off yellow. Beware of samsung model numbers...higher does not mean better from last year. In fact, its worse. Although samsungs have the best upscaling I have ever seen in a TV.

Rtings.
Gray uniformity on our Samsung RU9000 is decent; however, this can vary between individual units. The sides are visibly darker and there's some dirty screen effect at the center of the screen. There's also a bit of flashlighting in the bottom corners of the screen, but it isn't visible in regular content. Uniformity is much better in dark scenes.
3rd part is OTA he says πŸ˜‚

I rarely post as you can see, but for all those people that are worried about the Android interface and really want a Roku, spend $20 on a Roku and Boom, you have Roku TV!! Running the Roku on mine with zero issues.

Not insane. That is what the TV should be sold at. We been ripped off for years.
I have memories of the first flat panels I ever saw hanging in circuit city in 1999. The 46 inch was $15,000.

Times sure have changed.

I purchased this TV during the last sale. (First TV I've ever bought for myself)

Not an expert with TVs, but some things that bother me would be the delayed audio update when raising/lowering the audio (from silent to blasting audio after releasing the volume button) and some delay when navigating some apps.

I do appreciate the audio only mode, which I use when going to bed.

Overall, for the price, I can't really complain.
How do I do audio only please

While you're this amped up, please tell other companies to reduce their prices too. It's just a piece of glass with a $5 rasberrypi mini and freebie android. You should also picket outside these companies' headquarters against corporate greed. You have my support lol. And yes, the less you fixate on your scapegoat China, the closer you will be to the money that you would claim belongs to you.
China is not a scapegoat. They are the creator of Covid, responsible for the fentanyl crisis in the US as the creator and main importer into the US, they deal in stolen technology as a standard business practice. They monopolize entire world industries like drug production that America is so heavily dependent on. Our last aspirin plant closed in 2004. Can't even produce Aspirin without China. They have tied the value of their currency to the US dollar to avoid competition.. always artificially deflated so always able to produce far cheaper than other nations. They tax and Tariff the hell out of imports to their nation or just blatantly do not allow imports for certain industries. They have used these tools to target and attempt to destroy entire industries by flooding countries with imports like steel like they did in an attempt to destroy the American steel industry several years ago. Their point is total world economic domination. So no they are not a scapegoat.
