- The APPLE gift card ($100) can be used to buy apps, iTunes stuff (music and movies), AND is good at the APPLE store (even for physical goods), but again, that's at the APPLE STORE. Keep in mind everything they sell there, except for some holiday and back to school bonuses, are all RETAIL, REGULAR price.
- The BestBuy gift card (the $20) can be used to buy most anything (except other gift cards, I think?) that BestBuy sells, including Apple stuff. But you'd better have a good use for that $100 above first!
Should also be noted that once you load these gift cards to your account you can't buy physical items in store. You have to use the Apple Store app or website to do in store pick up.
Actually Best Buy in recent years has ran edu deals a few times a year that made some of the entry level airs and pros much cheaper than Apple, even with the edu discount. Again, only a few times a year, and must have a .edu email to qualify. So, if you are looking to buy soon, then yes, this Apple GC offer is still your best bet.
During the end of summer they also pair with beats headphones so $100 with whatever you can get out of the beats
Not a bad deal for physical products direct from Apple but keep in mind they don't earn cashback and you have to buy from Apple. I assume these don't work in any Apple retailer but only apple.com itself. It is still a nice improvement over when it was just for software.
Best Buy gift card $20 back is about the same as 20% since you can still get a wide variety of products at Best Buy and if not you can use BB GC for another gift cards that Best Buy does offer
I get your logic, but no can do on buying third party gift cards with a Best Buy gift card. They used to allow this as I'd buy iTunes and Xbox Live cards for my son, but not allowing it any longer. Oh and same thing at Target if anyone thinking of trying there. I tried that too.

Good to know; thankfully cyberpunk 2077 is nearby and Best Buy is constantly adding more and more towards competing against amazon, if they don't have a product then they soon will
Anyone knows if the amex offer ($25 off on 250 or more purchases) can be used at Bestbuy for this offer? also is this online only or in-store too?
Get a one-time $25 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $250 in one or more transactions in-store at Best Buy® or online at BestBuy.com® by 12/14/2020. See terms for exclusions.
Is there a limit or what? Can I buy $2000 iTunes cards and get $400 bb gift card?
The limit is whenever Best Buy cuts you off, then you have to go make a second burner account lol. In September they let me buy 1700$ worth of cards before they cut me off. Others were cut off before me.
