I seem to remember liking this as a child, but as an objective parent, it has almost zero replay value. We got a copy for free from a neighbor and it was played once and then takes up too much space on the games shelf.
Avoid it and get something that will help your child think while having fun. We're having a blast with https://www.rainbowresource.com/p...-Game.html right now. My five year old is developing deductive reasoning skills and doesn't even realize it, muah-ha-ha!
Bought this last year, it was a huge disappointment. 2 of the Hippos would get constantly get stuck, kids gave up on it fast. Poorly made, waste of money.
This game won't last long because it's not well made, that said it's very entertaining for kids
It's true - unlike the HHH game of my youth, this one is very cheaply made and uses plastic "marbles" that get lodged in the hippos and constantly interrupt play.
Just a shame that corporate America managed to screw up even a simple board game due to cost cutting.

Hippos of my childhood ate glass marbles of all sizes, legos, pennies, rocks, and my peas when mom wasn't looking. Still worked perfectly.

I've never heard of such a thing!
Make it more realistic Hasbro and switch out the marbles for people, OK.

So much truth to this!
