Online for my store was $45 but shelf tag at store said $59 on sale for $29 same as in OP but none on shelf. Online showed they had stock so had someone check. He found them in the locked cabinet at front of store. Rang up at $29.99.
Not very familiar with these products, so few legit questions.
Does this require any subscription?
Do they store in cloud or, can I just use SD card for continuous recording?
Can I access cam over internet?
in stock at my store. Got one for 29.99. They show up at 59.99 through the brickseek link but it was 29.99
I believe Ring is clearing the old models for the second generation products. this is an excellent deal to score if you can get it.

You only get real-time alerts and real-time viewing without a subscription. You cannot see past video. I have multiple cameras, the alarm system and a doorbell, so I think the $100/year unlimited subscription (includes remote monitoring and lifetime warranty) is a steal. The cheapest subscription is $30/year for a single camera. Not worth it (IMO) for just one $29 camera.
It's cloud-only. There's no SD card. There's no continuous recording mode either. It only records when motion is detected or when you manually access the feed.
You can absolutely access the cam over the internet. That's really where Ring shines over DVR-based cams. There's no messing with router settings, dynamic IP or anything else. It just works seamlessly over the internet.

False, I checked my local store yesterday and these were 29 even though brickseek showed 59
