I believe this is the lowest price ever offered from JBL on the PB100, which is a really great speaker in this market.

Didn't even realize it had a plug for guitar/mic...
Buying another one right now for an xmas gift
Thanks for posting the deal!
But you try to send full audio over bluetooth and it is going to lag enough to be noticeable to most folks if there is video to watch along with it, like watching streaming videos on a laptop or whatever and trying to use a bluetooth speaker. Need to use a wired connection for that.
Sounds like these just have a lot of lag over bluetooth, as a full second is a lot. Might be tied to protecting for the multi-speaker capability.
Other fella mentioned problems with multiple speakers and unfortunately there are also limits using bluetooth like these and most other inexpensive speakers do. Bluetooth range isn't great and lots of things (wifi, microwaves, etc.) interfere with it. Wifi or wired is better for multiple connections.
I've compared the 3 (100, 300 and 1000) extensively and own all but the 300 (gave that to my brother, since it overlapped a lot with the 100 and he has a huge yard to try and entertain his teenage kids during covid)
It sounds better at lower volumes than the 300 - definitely.. It also has just as much punch through about 75% of the volume range... but then the 300 runs away with overall loudness if you're trying to fill a bigger space.
You saying it sounds better than the 1000 makes me think you don't actually own nor have ever used the 1000, and only watched that one youtube review with the dude using binaural mics who contrasted them.
I agree that for most users - it's better than the 300.
Wholeheartedly agree that it's the best bang for the buck.

Information on your set up for karaoke withi this speaker
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/jbl-...Id=6359305
Been looking to buy one and almost jumped on it when it was $250. This is awesome for $200.
I've listened to a few Bluetooth speakers, and unless you're just looking for something that very portable (not saying this isn't, it's just bigger than most), I think it's very hard to beat this for this price.
It also sounds fantastic for karaoke if you're Asian and into that kind of thing https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...es/biggrin.gif
My brother also has a Bose S1 Pro and it sounds pretty similar. I would say audio wise, the Bose sounds cleaner, but definitely not $400 better. I actually prefer the JBL for karaoke.
Just an all around great buy for $200!
