and it seems you maybe able to upgrade to the 300/300 plan for the same price without a contract for free.
Im guessing this isn't available in all areas. It doesn't hurt to check your account to see if you can upgrade you internet plan.
it seems you can cancel your plan and sign up for a new one and get 100 dollar gift card and an amazon dot.
edit: it is region specific. so far it seems the NY/NJ area works fine.

I've been out of contract for over a year, 42.99...
When I logged in to my vz account, I saw the "Mix&Match" banner and clicked to upgrade, BUT it would NOT show me the 200/200 (or 300/300) for $39..
I wandered through My Account to check "manually" for an upgrade to see if it would appear there..
IT DID..
But when I selected it and checked out, it bumped my price to like $70 (or something)
I then manually used the URL verizon . com / mixandmatchchangemyplan
And there was the upgrade to 300/300 for 39.99, and I placed the order.
The strange thing is my email order confirmation shows my order as "200/200", when I KNOW what I selected and checked out with said 300/300
The email also says my (current) Auto-pay and Paper Free Billing was (obviously) removed from my account, and the NEW order shows a $10 discount for Auto-Pay (ONLY) discount.
Some questions.
1) How long should it take for the new speeds to take effect?
1) Will I need to re-start/re-setup Auto-Pay again? Or will it just "pick it up" from my previous settings? (I had put it on Pause just yesterday in prep for upgrading here)
2) Is Paper Free Billing still a requirement? I wouldn't mind receiving a paper bill again.

So I called in, to check why the plan went in as 200..
ATM, they can't seem to "fix" it, and the stupid system won't offer me the 300/300 @39.99 any longer, only 200/200
I've got it escalated right now.
I wonder if this is a dead deal for existing 100M customers...
In the meanwhile, rep upped my plan to 500/500 and will issue a $20/mo. credit for 12 months.
If they are able to "adjust" my plan to the M&M 300/300 at the flat $39.99, they'll do that within the next week-
If not, then I guess I'll stick with the 500/500 at $39.99 w/$20 per month discount. My only qualm about that is what kind of hassle will I have after 12 months? Either getting another $20 promo or downgrading to 300 @$39.99.
I wish it just would've gone through as expected.
