Verizon had their 200/200 for 39.99
and it seems you maybe able to upgrade to the 300/300 plan for the same price without a contract for free.

Im guessing this isn't available in all areas. It doesn't hurt to check your account to see if you can upgrade you internet plan.
it seems you can cancel your plan and sign up for a new one and get 100 dollar gift card and an amazon dot.

edit: it is region specific. so far it seems the NY/NJ area works fine.

I literally did nothing but call them and told them I'm following all instructions. CSR contacted Tech on their end (not the one that comes out to homes), tech said everything was okay, I unplugged ethernet from FiOS box, plugged it back in and everything was working within 90 seconds. Whole phone call took 15mins max

Thanks, That is what I did before, just plugged my router to the new Ethernet ONT and internet did not work. Luckily, I had an old Fios router laying around and plugged that in and internet worked. Found info online about releasing the ip address using the Fios router and then used my own router, then everything worked.

I bought a new AX5700 router to replace my existing non-fios router, hopefully that one would just be plug and play.

just in case you didn't, its not all that complicated. csr reaches out to tech, tech says, "i'll reset it on my end" or whatever, back to csr, they start rambling, just go to fios box and replug. The whole time, you maintain you have their approved router, they cannot see it. They lie.

was told the promo ended. only one available for $40 is the 200/200, while 300/300 and 500/500 are $60. they also told me i have to switch to ethernet and buy/rent their new router or use my own in order to get faster speeds.

In NJ. 300 shows up but when logged in, low (75, 100) speed with higher price showed up. Chatted with an agent and he was able to proceed with 300mps. Try to chat with the agent, it was pretty easy process.
