Update 11-20-2020 #1: Looks like the plan detail is out on AT&T prepaid site. Looks like the new plans lost the HD video streaming but Canada and Mexico roaming stays on the 15GB plan.

It is NOT on the website yet, but when you login to your prepaid account, select the Plan tab and you will see the new $40 Plan with 15GB and $30 Plan with 5GB. I changed the plan since today is my renewal day.

Also they removed the autopay discount on these new plan with a more straight forward pricing.

You still get multi-line discount with these new plans. For 2 lines on the $30 plan you pay $25 per line ($30 x 2 - $10)/2.

Tips #1: Change plan on the day before renewal to avoid excessive prorated charges.

Tips #2: Buy prepaid refill online at Target year round promotion to save an extra 10 to 15% and pay no taxes!

$40 15GB Monthly Plan
Good for 30 days upon payment of applicable plan charge. Not eligible for AutoPay discount. Unlimited Talk & Text: Includes unlimited talk and text within and between the U.S., Mexico & Canada and unlimited text from the U.S. to over 100 countries. For the list of over 100 countries available for texting from the U.S., go to att.com/prepaidintltext. Data: Plan includes 15GB of high-speed data in the U.S., Mexico & Canada. After high-speed data allowance is used, speeds are reduced to a max of 128 Kbps for rest of 30-day term. Mobile Hotspot use included. Video Streaming: Video streams in Standard Definition quality similar to DVD (about 480p). Ability to stream and video resolution may vary and be affected by other factors. For more details on coverage area availability, charges, restrictions and conditions, go to att.com/prepaid. Service provided by AT&T Mobility.

$30 5GB Monthly Plan

Q: Can someone clarify if AT&T prepaid WiFi calling works on all Unlocked phones? Why I ask is, I am using Cricket wireless and WiFi calling works only on Cricket branded phones and my home doesn't have good signal and rely on WiFi calling

I've been on the 8gb + 17gb walmart/At&t Prepaid plan for over a year and it looks like they're still offering it. 25gb of full speed data with hotspot for $40.00 per month is still a pretty good deal. Ya just need to purchase a cheap prepaid phone from them. I actually ended up returning mine after I got the 17gb bonus data.
Verizon Prepaid is heavily deprioritized in crowded areas.
These look like decent, single-month commitment options without much hoops to jump through. But I agree the Walmart plan is better at $40 and even the yearly $300 ($25/month) is better for the lowest price; that $300/year is 8 GB plus rollover and tethering. The catch is that you need to port in and have to commit for the year. My wife just renewed her yearly plan for the same price.

can be done on the phone as well with a dept called att port activations center
We did it online with the AT&T Prepaid $300/year + tax promo, approximately $25/month + tax, 8GB plan. When the new sim card came in the mail, we just put the new sim card in the old iphone7 and called the AT&T port activations center (you might have to search online for their phone number), turned off and on phone when the rep completed the process, and our postpaid AT&T line was ported to the new AT&T prepaid line with the same phone number. Hope this helps.

Att is the shadiest when it comes to prepaid, my brother had a 50 dollar plan which supposedly was all in everything included, he cancelled his line after one month was 250 dollars (for roaming charges). Buyer beware!!!!!! [mind you he never left the state and they're only supposed to charge when you go to Canada or Mexico]
what happened when he disputed it?

They made up something about how he went in a non covered area but their coverage maps all showed it was within their service, he closed his service the following month.... Seemed like a shake down....

Mint mobile is the way to go.
Ordered my Free Sim from Mint Mobile, stuck it in my S21 Ultra unlocked. Data was slow, I can make outgoing calls but incoming did not work. Shows no signal anytime I disable WIFI. Worked with their support and guys was like " Phone number is setup right... IDK" haven't had a chance to follow up support since. Meanwhile ordered Sim Kit from US Mobile. Tried Verizon Sim (Black) had awful data speeds Kbps and 1 bar in the house EEK!. They highly recommended the Black Super LTE sim. I switched to the White GSM (T-Mobile) getting 50 down and 40 up with full bars. My phone is 5G capable but yet to see those speeds at home at least. I guess each service is different to each person and their respective devices. You just have to be willing to try new services to see which one fits. I may end up with GSM LTE on US mobile, coming from AT&T Wireless where I pay $45 plus taxes for 4Gig data. If anyone wants to try US Mobile I can send them my link they get 50% off their first month.

Good thing with US Mobile is you can switch any time between their Super LTE and GSM service (or vice versa). Before we signed up, I was able to request 4 sets of sim cards instead of paying $4 each. each set comes with T-Mobile and Verizon sim. When or if they start offering wifi calling in their Super LTE, I'll switch...or maybe not considering T-Mo has better 5G coverage than Verizon. Hot tip...Hotspot works, too w/o extra fees for both. 😉

So far, I have no complaints on their T-Mo service. I've only been with them for a month though. So time will tell. Not too worried about it since I'm not paying 3 months or 1 year prepaid service like what Mint Mobile is making its customers do.
Looks like support is telling me it takes 24 hours to switch between the SIM's but is an option.
Having the hardest time getting the Super LTE working at decent data speeds. Spent almost 3 hours with Umer from support changing APN settings, resetting network settings, removing roaming, swapping SIMs all to fall flat. Will say the GSM LTE does work well though just hate missing visual voicemail and hope that Tmobile service is decent around town.

Sent you a PM on how to get Free SIM from US Mobile and try their services for month for under $10. I had much better link with US Mobile than with Mint.

Been on US Mobile plan for 24 hours so far. My porting from AT&T to US Mobile took all of 1-2 minutes.
Drove around town no services issues so far. Text and calls all working without issues. Also finding that i am getting 5G in several locations around town. Speed test showing in the 300-400M speeds when on 5G. Overall happy with the service. Went with T-Mobile White GSM Sim card since I had issue activating the Black Verizon one. Post here if anyone has any questions, I tried out this service and MINT and happier with US Mobile so far. PM me if you want my code for 50% off your first month service.
