I've a porter cable 690 mounted in my router table and I got tired of having to take it out when I wanted to operate it hand-held.

Several years ago I picked up a smaller trim router like this so I could just leave my bigger router in the table. If you're in a similar situation then I'd recommend picking one of these up.

Just note that they're not incredibly powerful and shouldn't really be considered as a primary router for things like dados and more demanding work. That's not to say they're incapable of such tasks, but rather that you'll be making a lot of passes while gradually increasing depth to avoid wood burn. Because of this, you'll wear out your bits much quicker than if you purchased a bigger router.
According to CCC this never went under $90 the past 2 years unless it was missed for a brief moment. The 1HP PR20EVS model was the one that constantly dropped under $90.
Coming home from skiing, I begged my friend to stop for gasoline on the Thruway, but he refused, as he was only willing to buy gas at a particular station just off it. He said it was at the bottom of a big hill, and he had once coasted down the hill to the station when ran out of gas, and could do it again. Well, this time he ran out on the wrong side of the hill. He had to walk 2 miles, set off a burglar alarm stealing a gas can from a shed, buy gas and walk back. He did return the can. All to save 8 cents a gallon.

I believe you're talking about the older, 1 hp model. This is the lowest price for the 1.25 hp.

I posted this deal a couple weeks ago but it expired. Good to see it back.

Thanks OP! Same price from ZORO. Plus chase freedom 10% back under Chase Offer.

The Milwaukee M18 router (tool only) is about the same price at Home Depot with the hack. But I feel like this is one of those tools you will only use it in a shop environment. Don't really need a cordless version and worry about not having enough batteries.

I bought this two weeks ago, and like all some of the reviews said, it has issues with the fine tune knob where it only only goes one direction. Make sure to try all the functions before the return period

Same here, only took me two times having to take mine out of my table to decide that wasn't going to work. Picked up the m18 for $99. Only bummer is 90% of my bits are for a 1/2" collet 😑.

Cords get in the way. Once you're deep enough into a battery system running out of charged batteries is more of a challenge than a problem.

This seems like a more appropriate accessory. $15 so $5 more in overall purchase.

This is my goto router (of 4) since I got it. Only criticism is it only does 1/4" router bits. But I can work around that limitation. Only time the 1/4" size comes into play is doing dovetails since my dovetail bit is 1/2". I just switch to my Bosch full sized router. This router is also great for inlay routing.

Big pluses for this router!
