Several years ago I picked up a smaller trim router like this so I could just leave my bigger router in the table. If you're in a similar situation then I'd recommend picking one of these up.
Just note that they're not incredibly powerful and shouldn't really be considered as a primary router for things like dados and more demanding work. That's not to say they're incapable of such tasks, but rather that you'll be making a lot of passes while gradually increasing depth to avoid wood burn. Because of this, you'll wear out your bits much quicker than if you purchased a bigger router.

You'll run your car down to fumes waiting for gas to drop another 2 cents won't ya?

I believe you're talking about the older, 1 hp model. This is the lowest price for the 1.25 hp.
I posted this deal a couple weeks ago but it expired. Good to see it back.

The Milwaukee M18 router (tool only) is about the same price at Home Depot with the hack. But I feel like this is one of those tools you will only use it in a shop environment. Don't really need a cordless version and worry about not having enough batteries.

Same here, only took me two times having to take mine out of my table to decide that wasn't going to work. Picked up the m18 for $99. Only bummer is 90% of my bits are for a 1/2" collet 😑.

Cords get in the way. Once you're deep enough into a battery system running out of charged batteries is more of a challenge than a problem.
This seems like a more appropriate accessory. $15 so $5 more in overall purchase.
Big pluses for this router!
