R-SIM is a SIM card add-on that looks like a really thin SIM card that mounts on top of your nano sim (or below depending on the model) that allows you to bypass the sim lock by hard coding a new ICCID that is unlocked.

You can buy the R-SIMs off ebay/amazon and they are usually $10 give or take.

It works reasonably well and the wiki talks about how to operate it, the only challenge is sometimes iOS updates break it and sometimes you need a new ICCID but for the most part it's great and allows you to use a SIM locked phone with any provider. and in this case you dont have to wait 180 days with Cricket to get an unlock code.

Keep in mind it is unlike the factory unlocking process which is permanent. Here you are dependent always on the R-SIM.

back in the day it also went by the name Gevey SIM.

As long as you have an old Sprint SIM card laying around (they're reusable)... and an IMEI from a phone that's compatible with Sprint's network, you can sign up for the $5 service (data only) or if you want to play it safe... $6 service (500mb data, 100 min). Pay for service, enter in IMEI and SIM card info, activate. You'll have instant access to a new phone number, pin to access port out info.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be working with their 30$ plan....has anyone actually checked out with their 30$ plan? Because the post says it's only valid with their 60$ plan.

I tired the $200 discount only applied at checkout with the $60 unlimited 5G plan which makes no sense since this phone doesn't have 5G. Atleast should be able to pick regular unlimited plan for $55.

I don't think this deal can be beat by any other service provider. Bought one, thank you OP.

This phone came out end of April 2020 and there is literally zero Android phone out there that can beat it, especially at this price. I got a spare RSIM 15 to try as well.
