R-SIM is a SIM card add-on that looks like a really thin SIM card that mounts on top of your nano sim (or below depending on the model) that allows you to bypass the sim lock by hard coding a new ICCID that is unlocked.

You can buy the R-SIMs off ebay/amazon and they are usually $10 give or take.

It works reasonably well and the wiki talks about how to operate it, the only challenge is sometimes iOS updates break it and sometimes you need a new ICCID but for the most part it's great and allows you to use a SIM locked phone with any provider. and in this case you dont have to wait 180 days with Cricket to get an unlock code.

Keep in mind it is unlike the factory unlocking process which is permanent. Here you are dependent always on the R-SIM.

back in the day it also went by the name Gevey SIM.

As long as you have an old Sprint SIM card laying around (they're reusable)... and an IMEI from a phone that's compatible with Sprint's network, you can sign up for the $5 service (data only) or if you want to play it safe... $6 service (500mb data, 100 min). Pay for service, enter in IMEI and SIM card info, activate. You'll have instant access to a new phone number, pin to access port out info.

There's no point of asking for referral right now... Doesn't apply to your order. Only would want referral when you activate the account/SIM.

he's been swamped as well but I agree with others posters as well, that if u r swamped and cannot fulfil your promise as stated in your listing of 30 mins, pause the listing or take it down temporarily at least till you can catch up

Got a shipping notification 45 mins ago. I ordered at 2 PM EST today and purchased 2 port numbers from eBay.

I did the Cricket iPhone 8 and 8 Plus deals earlier this year, so I've been through this before. I got an email called "Important Update: Your Phone Number Transfer" 45 mins after I placed my initial order to update my account information as I could only place 1 account number during checkout. The email contained a link that allowed me to submit both account numbers. Once that's done, I closed the window and reopened the same emailed link which allowed me to put in the account pins for each number. Only then did the port process complete.

$110 includes $60 service credit, plus you get $25 from using referral code, so $110 give you $85 phone service credit. 6 months of service cost $180. So you need additional $95 charge.

Total is $110 + $95 = $205 (plus some tax)

Edit: The OP edited his math before I replied, the original total was $260.

Yeah I thought ebay was the only game in town until the op pmed me their port guy. Its probably going to be a hassle trying to get a refund from ebay
