So how did everyone place more than one order. It keeps on complaining that my household already ordered one.

I changed email address and name but can't change mailing address because my cc is tied to the first one.

Same issue with me, even used a different name and credit card, for the first phone I added two lines to the cart and checked out at once, and it gave me a multi line discount of $30 and both phones qualified for promo price

Earlier in the thread people said they were just changing email addresses. That didn't work for me.

I have used my wife's name in the past to do a second order, I've tried with a neighboring city in my address instead (for eg some postal addresses use the name of a town or unincorporated area). I've consistently been able to get a second order in. And 2 per order. This is the 3rd time.

Haven't been able to get more than 2 orders yet.

Are you already a Cricket customer? How many lines are you planning on getting?

Say you are an existing customer and have 2 lines with Cricket. You currently have $70 in your account. If you cancel one of those lines, you will still have the $70 credit in your account.

Now say you have a separate account because of this deal. You pay the $50 for the phone and the $60 for the service. You immediately downgrade that to the $30 plan meaning that the $60 you paid will give you 2 months of phone service.

Now you used your first account to generate a referral code. After the credit goes to the two accounts, $25 on one and $25 on the other, you contact support on your first account and let them know that you have a friend or aunt joining your group plan. Now that second account's credits will be added to your existing account credit. Remember how you had $60 on your first account initially, and then $25 for the referral, and then another $25 for the new referral. That leaves you with $110 in your Cricket account. You can then contact Cricket to cancel one of your lines. Your $110 will still be there for use with your other line(s).
I am a new customer and I got 2 lines today . I am tempted to buy 2 more lines on another account for trade-in. Is there a way I can merge my first account with second , so that I do not lose $120 plan charges for the 2 lines on the second account.

1) to get the referral credit, activate your phone
2) downgrade to $30 plan immediately after activation
3) you could technically use the phone for 3 months ($60 for 2 months, $25 referral plus $5 CB through r a k u)
4) after 3 months you can cancel this out. or, if you keep this phone for 6 months, you can get this unlocked through Cricket
Thanks for the explanation.
Does cricket only unlock if you use it for 6 months straight? Can I put my own sim into it every month for a day and will it count or has to be everyday for 6 months ?

you only get 2 per address. and I think that limit is further limited to 2 promo phones per 6-12 months.

Last time I hit up a Cricket deal I was able to use different ccs etc and even changed st to street etc to get a few more phones sent to my house. And I was able to send phones to Mom's house on top of it with my other cc's.

But no go this time. It seems like a hard 2 per address limit. And you can't change st to street now because they match up your address to one in the system. And you can't use a 2nd or 3rd cc to send them to different addresses because it appears you can only send it to the billing address for the cc.

So to get above the 2 per address limit, you're gonna have to send it to Mom's address and use her CC.

I've read through a good portion of the thread, and I'm still not quite clear on how this would work if I already have a phone with cricket.

I see the steps to create a new account, but I'm not clear what we need to do with the old account. My wife has an existing account and wants to keep her number. Are we paying for both accounts in the interim periods until they are merged?
