R-SIM is a SIM card add-on that looks like a really thin SIM card that mounts on top of your nano sim (or below depending on the model) that allows you to bypass the sim lock by hard coding a new ICCID that is unlocked.

You can buy the R-SIMs off ebay/amazon and they are usually $10 give or take.

It works reasonably well and the wiki talks about how to operate it, the only challenge is sometimes iOS updates break it and sometimes you need a new ICCID but for the most part it's great and allows you to use a SIM locked phone with any provider. and in this case you dont have to wait 180 days with Cricket to get an unlock code.

Keep in mind it is unlike the factory unlocking process which is permanent. Here you are dependent always on the R-SIM.

back in the day it also went by the name Gevey SIM.

As long as you have an old Sprint SIM card laying around (they're reusable)... and an IMEI from a phone that's compatible with Sprint's network, you can sign up for the $5 service (data only) or if you want to play it safe... $6 service (500mb data, 100 min). Pay for service, enter in IMEI and SIM card info, activate. You'll have instant access to a new phone number, pin to access port out info.

I have 3 boost numbers left, ready to port. I would prefer to get paid on Apple Pay instead of GC.
If someone wants them please PM me.
Still have a spare boost number?

For those ordering multiple and shipping to a friend's address... Did you use the same email or different email?
Also wondering if we are better off using two different accounts and use 1st accounts referrals to 2nd?

That's pretty much all there is... Maybe cb sites and credit card offer if you have one (ymmv). Consider purchasing prepaid airtime cards from Target.

Do you have to use the same phone during 6 months to get ot activated. I don't want to use the phone probably gift it someone, but use the service for 6 months on my regular phone.
