You can buy the R-SIMs off ebay/amazon and they are usually $10 give or take.
It works reasonably well and the wiki talks about how to operate it, the only challenge is sometimes iOS updates break it and sometimes you need a new ICCID but for the most part it's great and allows you to use a SIM locked phone with any provider. and in this case you dont have to wait 180 days with Cricket to get an unlock code.
Keep in mind it is unlike the factory unlocking process which is permanent. Here you are dependent always on the R-SIM.
back in the day it also went by the name Gevey SIM.

Based on what? These values are most likely set via contract with Apple.
Also can anyone help me here on how to maximize referral $
I ordered and have 1 phone, coming tomorrow
yesterday my sister ordered 2. She does not mind me setting them up. And another SDer who I helped, has kindly offered to use my referral code. So total 3-4 phones of pending activations
I plan to keep mine active hopefully via referral credits to unlock date
- what is the best way for me to get max referral credit when hers arrive ?
- are referrals limited to certain number ?
- can referral code be generated from the website [ or is it an app exclusive ?]
- once I generate the code, other than end user entering it upon activation, is there anything else to be done ?
- with data above, can I take my lone SE to 180 days to unlock ?

which is why I have a "numbers guy" or sorts, very responsive and fast
have been buying numbers from him for a while, response time if 3-30 mins and more importantly his numbers have never failed for ports !
we'll know for sure when early users of this deal like Slickwheelin report back
I was curious on the typical turn around once it delivers to a phobio location.
As long as the device meets the inspection which it should since it is brand new and the 256GB is just a placeholder then is the $205 locked in or could the price drop because they are getting flooded with SEs?
