This is the correct rtngs link. The one above is the 2019 version. Here is the 2020 one for this tv. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...antum-2020. 2020 not as good but still decent, especially for the price.
"We reviewed the 65" Vizio M Series Quantum 2020 (M65Q8-H1), and we expect our results to be valid for the 55" (M55Q8-H1) model as well. There's an M7 variant of this TV, which has a few differences, such as the number of local dimming zones. There's a Black Friday model that's only available at a 70" size, which has slightly reduced features, such as having three HDMI ports instead of four. It likely has a different number of local dimming zones; however, we aren't able to confirm it. If you come across this model, please let us know in the discussions below."
Oh man, I finally settled on the m series 65 for 548 from walmart. It was hard to nail down specs because it has h4 instead of the h1 reviewed on rtings. Difference between m and m7 and m8 seems minimal. Seems on par with tcl series 5 but cheaper. 100 bucks for 5 inches? Now I am torn.
updated the rtings link. this is a nice tv when compared to 650 price point of samsungs and hisense. blacks are superior and brightness is very good. not quiet a sony x900 but surely beats x800. i saw both in best buy

That is not a correct link
This is MQ6 not MQ7.
This product is not reviewed at all. This MQ6 is sort of Black Friday model and quite different model from MQ7 or MQ8. This does not support VRR and also has 3 HDMI ports

That's the correct rtings link from what I can tell, if you go to the link they mention this model number under "Differences Between Sizes And Variants" and they mention this 70" model is a special black friday model that has 3 HDMI inputs and an unknown amount of local dimming zones. So there really is no review of this exact model, lots of confusion on what it has for local dimming zones.

I will reiterate that this model is not reviewed by Rtings and I will not even think about this model because there are other better options available.
The biggest problem with this MQ6 series is no local dimming zone. Also the gaming engine is V gaming engine and no VRR. https://www.vizio.com/en/tv/m-series/M65Q7-H1 in tech specs
You go 1 step up which is MQ7. Both 55 and 65 inch version shows 30 local dimming zone.
You go further up their best M series MQ8 Both 55 and 65 inch version shows 90 local dimming zone. Both MQ7 and MQ8 has pro gaming engine and VRR. https://www.vizio.com/en/tv/m-series/M65Q8-H1 https://www.vizio.com/en/tv/m-series/M65Q7-H1

70' tv is very difficult to return and exchange process and it is big and you need help of another person.

I would rather go with one of this 2: I know it is 65 size. Less price but good picture quality.
