How is this compared to the Ultrawide Acer for $349 at Costco?

Wonder how this compares to the Monoprice Dark Matter (Samsung Panel?) or the Acer Costco one. Anyone try out a few of these?

Well, what are you interested in procuring? The Acer is $50 less and 144Hz with a 1ms response time. Same (exactly the same I am guessing...but cannot confirm the Acer panel) as the Dark Matter deal...also @$349).

The LG includes a display port cable if that helps.
It is also 1" "larger". Otherwise, I don't see much reason to go with it unless you just prefer the name LG.

....of course, the Costco Acer went OOS and isn't available with the $349 price yet (Cyber Monday deal, right?). I bought one, planning to price match it later, but wasn't thrilled with the Acer (probably due to my own use case) as it seemed overkill (not much gaming for me) with mediocre color, so I returned it. That is not to say the value of that monitor isn't great when compared to other current offers though. Especially when combined with Costco's monitor warranty policy.

I did some research on the Internet, a lot of people said that LG display quality is better than Acer, Samsung panel in the same price range

need a replacement for my monoprice 35" for 299 since the quality isn't great. One of the reviews said the IPS was still better, has anyone seen or think there will be similar deals on an LG IPS panel 34" + WQHD ultrawide? Been waiting for a month, almost time to return the monoprice

Maybe, if you don't want to get a USB-C HDMI cable/hub

Different types of displays, if you don't need/want the Ultrawide aspect ratio then the Dell is pretty hard to beat, it has more inputs, higher refresh rate and has a USB hub
If you do need/want the Ultrawide though, this is a pretty good deal if you need the adjustable height and USB hub - the Acer in Costco does not have an adjustable stand and USB hub

It certainly is for me. I want one cable for hook-up and charging, and few extra ports on the rear to act as a hub.

I bought this monitor.

I compared it with the IPS panel that's not curved. And if you purely want image quality , go for the ips. This is different but pretty damn close. I kept this because it has speakers and the other one didn't.

My only wish is that it had usb c because Waking it up from sleep takes a bit of time.
