deal [adorama.com]

$299 + free s/h

These have the latest headband, which is not only much soft, more comfy but does not rely on rubber tension for clamp, so it should be much more reliable.

It also comes in a new color and box is marked Adorama exclusive

Just a warning for any audiophile headphone novices who might be spotting this and wondering..... these are not plug-into-your-iphone headphones. They require an amplifier to be enjoyed.
Thee are way better than the X2HR. More clarity, more definition. The HE560 has bass, but not the bass that the X2HR at least thats what I remember from my X2HR. However the bass on the HE560 is fast and more define than on the X2HR. I don't think these are better than the HD600. I do like the HD600, but I will prefer the HE560. The HE560 again is faster (planar) than the HD600 and it has more bass. The HE560 has incredible soundstage. I find the HE560 to be a more versatile headphone than those you mentioned. Its very similar to the Sundara, I find the sundara more smooth on the treble, but I havent heard this V4 of the HE560, it might be better than the original version I had.

I cant seem to find anything online reviewing these v4 editions. I'm guessing these are discontinued, am I wrong? I'm debating between these or the Sundaras. Anyone have input?

I think this model may be brand new, with a new headband as described in the OP. So theoretically same sound as past models, but with improved ergonomics and reliability. Really enticing me to take my first leap into planar magnetic phones...

Why not Sundara? Youtube reviews seem more preferring Sundara than the previous versions of
HE560

Damn, I got some M1060Cs I modded earlier in the year. I've used the original of these and they sound amazing.

Thanks bud! I understand. I am little skeptical about V4 to pull the trigger. I don't find these on HiFiMan online portal also.
