Fantastic deal. It will be the same price at Sam's and Costco for Black Friday, but obviously Target doesn't require a membership and you can save 5% with Redcard.
Dumb question... But I have costco membership and they have this model for 150 and the one without the 2 back speakers for 120 in few days. Are the 2 speakers worth the extra money ? They will be hard to position in my apartment
I bought this system from Costco and can confirm they are not. They need to be wired to the subwoofer.
Overall this is a pretty solid system for the money, I think this is an ideal set up for an apartment as it can get plenty loud without disturbing neighbors.
Where do I find out if this qualifies for the Costco's extra 2 year warranty? When I check "Warranty and Services", it only shows Free Technical Support.

For $30 more, you can have 5.1 surround sound, so I think that is worth it
I bought the m21d and I love it. Not sure what the other comment is about bass but it has more than enough. I had to turn the bass down. It is a very good bar for the price. No regrets.
I feel the bass is ok for what it is. My issue was the lack of center channel. Dialogue is not very clear at times even in dialogue eq mode. In turn, when putting in dialogue mode, you lose a lot of the other eq settings. I wish there was a manual adjust for the eq for the M21.

Does this unit have a, "center" channel to it?
I am not sure. I dropped the bass a bit and put it in movie mode. I have heard really good things about the V51. I know there is a setting that adjusts the volume as the audio shifts. Maybe it is on by default?

It's nothing special, don't get too hyped on it. Surround sound and a solid subwoofer is more important imo. And a sound bar with eARC and dolby audio etc...
I'm comparing this and the Vizio sb36512-f6 that was posted for $300. Anyone have input while I'm researching specs? Based on the reviews, I'm really on the fence about whether the sb36512-f6 is worth twice the price of this one.
If you have a bigger room wait for the 36512. Not only does it have a bigger soundbar, but in addition it has two additional upward shooting speakers
Any way to mount the bar to the bottom or top of a Samsung 43" TU8000 ? Couldn't tell by the info on Samsung's page. Maybe there's an accessory part that could do this?

This is a good price for a nice budget setup.
Does this setup have ARC abilities? That lets you control the volume of the sound bar with the tv controller, right? Does this have that setup or must you use the separate controller? I would imagine the need to reach for a second controller would be annoying.
I ordered the ZIO M-Series All-in-One Sound Bar (M21d-H8 for $80 shipped from Target but haven't tried it yet. Considering spending double to get this deal with the wireless sub and 2 additional speakers.
Guessing its worth the price since this rates very well on Rtings.com.
I think I just got lucky, I was able to order an open box - Excellent with shipping somehow for $120. It's only better at BB than costco since I got the 20% off ($30) for open box and had a BB gift card to use up on top of that.
Might be worth a shot to keep an eye on the best buy page if more become available and you're ok with open box for a further discount.
