This deal is a mess (Amazon's fault, not posters.) On the amazon listing in the title it shows it comes with a stick up cam battery, but in description it says a stick up cam wired. However when you go to check out it actually has a indoor cam in the bundle($60 msrp rather than $100) rather than a stick up cam at all. I'd happily do this deal to get a $45 stick up cam battery (don't need the myQ hub, already have one,) but you can currently get the indoor cams for $30 at Home Depot in store so this isn't that great in that context.

After reading the negative reviews, I would not put this on my garage door or pay for a subscription to connect. Also, thats an indoor cam, ac operated.

Thanks for the confirmation. I checked my order and cancelled it! Yeah, it's not OPs fault. Amazon ad is totally misleading

I've been using the older version of MyQ garage opener for a while now. Mine is a black box, not white like what they have on this listing. It's worked great for me. I only use it to control my garage door from my app and I pay no fees. It does want me to pay a fee to integrate with other smart home functions but I don't need that.

Yeah to put some context around the subscription thing, they were charging a small monthly fee to link myQ to Google Assistant, IFTTT, or some others while other integrations were free (Wink, back when that service was actually relevant.) Right now it appears that the previously paid services are now free ... for a limited time. They don't give a date on how long that time is, just saying that it can go back to a paid service when they choose. I doubt many people actually paid for the integrations so I'm guessing they are evaluating that business model.

Also, oddly myQ doesn't integrate at all with Alexa, despite being a partner with Amazon for Key (thus this bundle.) However you can work around all this integration nonsense by using Home Assistant, which does work with myQ and even has features most of the supported integrations don't, such as allowing you to actually close the garage door (the myQ app and Key let you do this, but not other integrations as some misguided safety attempt, although I can't understand why letting one app do it but not another is somehow safer.)

When you add the item to cart, it says ring cam..not stick up and based on others reponses, this is ring indoor. Can you purchase it and ask amazon to send proper cam since description says ring stick up battery?

If this is $45, isn't $15 for the garage opener not a good deal?
