How is this possible? I have a 6th gen i5 and 8gb ram laptop. It can do 30+ tabs on chrome.
What browser needs 8 gb for one tab?

3rd time they've run this deal in the past couple months. The cheapest PC with decent specs in which you get a 15" IPS screen.

I saw this this am and was just about to pull the trigger on it but saw that it was Windows 10 S mode

Edit - Thanks to those who explained how to remove from S mode. Got one for my brother as a family Christmas gift for his school stuff

Best sub $500 deal for a non-gaming laptop that I've seen lately, hard to justify paying any more than this unless you need it to be an ultra portable, 2in1 design or you can afford to pay a lot more for build quality. IPS 1080p screen on a $300 laptop is unheard of.

Got my wife this and very impressed with the speed, screen quality and build isn't that bad... If you are on the fence for a cheap laptop, get this one, you won't find much better for this price new.

What's the best linux distro this could run? That's all I'd want this for is to switch it to an all linux portable.

Picked up last month same deal. Very good for the money . Wish it had usb C and backlit keyboard but really couldn't ask for more at this price point.

I purchases one and it was a couple guided clicks then 1 minute reboot and i had windows 10 home for free. Dont let that be the reason you hold back if this fits what your needs and budget are. IMHO. happy deal hunting

Whatever you want? I have never heard of a Linux distro that had "high" requirements. I have heard of "lite" distros you can run off a thumb drive...

Bought it last month. Biggest complaint is the camera quality is bad. I Zoom daily and have to look at myself. My face appears off color and very grainy. Other than that, it is great for only $300.
