TVs and monitors use the same technology. There seems to be a lot of misinformation out there. The primary differences between what we call TVs and dedicated monitors are the way the pixels may be grouped on the screen. Dedicated monitors tend to use a different pattern for pixels than TVs, but again, that is not every TV. You need to do a bit of leg work and see how the TV you want works. Also, TVs almost universally have a dedicated PC mode, which is precisely for use with computers long-term. But the idea that running a TV as a monitor can break it is simply not true. More importantly, sitting close to a 42" monitor with a "TV" pixel set up can cause the image to look blurry or pixelated. Again, this applies to SOME TVs, not all. But there is nothing inherently bad or wrong about using a TV as a monitor. While some TVs may fail, there's a 99% chance that is has no relationship to the signal it gets. The TV itself can break either as a TV or a monitor for many reasons.
I don't think it would make any problem but electricity bill if some watches tv or turn it on more than 10 hours a day. Inside the chassis they all equally have power board, Led bulbs, mainboard, speakers.
Also we can easily find TVs everywhere in the markets or airports turned on 24/7 literally.

I also got into the 55" hisense deal but, now I'm thinking that 43" 4ks are ideal for PC monitors, of course just to those who doesn't play games that much like me.

How cheaper do you expect to see these 43" 4k TVs within 1 week?
I was waiting for qhd 32 75Hz+ monitor deals under &100 but I changed my mind to get a 43" 4k below $150..

Never heard of this brand but all their TVs seem to be getting pretty good reviews, especially compared to all the other budget brand TVs.

True, honestly it is never recommended to use a device not intended for its original use. Tv's are designed for 4 to 6 hours a day only. If you work 10 plus hours a day do not use a tv as a monitor.
