Note, a new Fi customer is somebody who is new to Google Fi on either a new plan or a new member as a part of an existing group plan.

TO qualify for the $500 discount:
  • Activate the Samsung Note20 on a full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and remain active on Google Fi for 90 consecutive days.
  • You must also bring/transfer your number to Fi within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible.

So I was checking their site for trade in values and a cracked S8 is worth $320 trade in value. Non-cracked is $350. Is that accurate?

No extra trade in credit for Pixel devices, google is so backwards sometimes. I don't think I've seen google give extra credit on their own devices.

Pulled the trigger. This is going to be my first flagship phone in ages.

$533.11 (phone + tax) + $4.81 (port in number) + Traded in a iPhone 6s. If everything goes smoothly, it will be $271.92 out of pocket + cost for 90 days of service.

Where did you get port number from? How much will 90 days of service cost if you just activate and not use their service?

I got quoted $350 for my S8. Considering I bought the S8 for $400 (2 for $400 w/ trade in of the S7E), this is an amazing deal.

Seems to be roughly $575 with tax and the 3 months of Google Fi for the N20U. Not bad considering it's normally going for $1050 right now during the holidays sales at BB, Microsoft, & Samsung.

See other thread - the consensus from customer support is that Google Voice numbers DO NOT count as porting a number in. Use H20 or number barn to be sure.
