Q: Does the port credit stack with the trade-in credit?

Google fi is expensive if you use lots of data.
No. You can switch on day 91 and you will be free and clear. And don't forget to use a referral code to save $20 on your second months service!

What?? Is it still showing the higher trade in values?? I thought that ended yesterday
I got quoted $350 for my S8. Considering I bought the S8 for $400 (2 for $400 w/ trade in of the S7E), this is an amazing deal.

Seems to be roughly $575 with tax and the 3 months of Google Fi for the N20U. Not bad considering it's normally going for $1050 right now during the holidays sales at BB, Microsoft, & Samsung.

Does a Google Voice number work?
Quote from mukundcs :
Likely not; when you sign up for fi, the google voice number associated with the google account would typically become the fi number.
See other thread - the consensus from customer support is that Google Voice numbers DO NOT count as porting a number in. Use H20 or number barn to be sure.

These Google Fi deals are usually the best ones to get some decent deals on phones. I did one of them last year to get a Motorola G7 for $99.99 as backup phone. As long as you fulfill the terms of the deal, you can move the phone to a different service afterwards.

This deal involves a few more hoops to jump through compared to the one I did last year for the Motorola G7 though I guess that's understandable since this is a flagship phone compared to the budget one I bought.

3 months i think.

999 at launch. 499 for n20 is awesome since you can trade in towards n21 or s21 for at least 650, netting money

Don't forget about the $20 referral code for new customers. Can cover the cost of 30 days if you don't use any data.

Does someone know if we can trade in an S20 that is still under contract from Sprint? Assume I keep the line open.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I've used the same service and have had the same number for many years, if I port this number over to Google Fi, then after 90 days decide I want to go back to my old service, will I be able to port the number back to a different carrier or do I lose it?

Use your PayPal with chase for another 5% or $26 off

It's about +550 for phone with tax
+80 for 3 months of services
+3 for porting GV
-20 referral
-26 PayPal
Total of 587

If you buy and trade in any iPhone 6s or s7 for 80, you get about 270 off which nets you a positive of 190

This snapdragon 865+ phone will be about 397.

Well, technically you can - but I wouldn't advise it. Basically, to get the deal price, you need to activate within 30 days, port an existing number in, and keep active for 90 days (I think those are the basic terms). If any of those things do not happen, then you will be charged the extra $500 I believe. Personally, I wouldn't risk MY $500 by counting on somebody else doing ALL of those properly ....

You can port it back.

I'm not entirely sure though I would just activate the fi sim on the note 20 first then put it in a different phone. If this Google Fi Samsung Note 20 is like the other phone I got from the service before, it already comes unlocked so you can already jam another SIM card into it.
